A MINER'S TRADITION.
From Colorado Silver mines to the California gold rush miners pitched a dollar on the ceiling at their favorite watering hole for good luck and as a insurance policy for their families to claim should they get hurt while in the mines. In remembrance of these miners the Owl Saloon will match a donation, equal to the amount pitched on it's ceiling, to the Colfax Museum.
